Where do you start on a house?
At the attic plane. That is where most of the heat leaves and where most of the moisture problems begin. Eco-Therma works out insulation depth and coverage, air leakage paths and whether the ventilation path is clear — remotely, from your address and attic size.
Do I need insulation, ventilation or air sealing?
Often more than one, and the order matters. Sealing the air leaks usually comes before adding insulation depth, because insulation slows heat transfer but does not stop air movement. The quote tells you which one is actually limiting your attic.
Can you work in a finished house?
Yes. Eco-Therma works from the attic access, and the work area and the route to it are protected. For walls and enclosed cavities we use methods that limit disturbance to finished surfaces.
How long does a typical attic project take?
Most residential attic projects are completed in a single visit. Removal, remediation or decontamination can add time depending on what is found. The Eco-Therma assessment establishes the scope before anything is scheduled.
Do you handle the mess?
Eco-Therma extracts old material with professional equipment rather than carrying it through the house in open bags, and the access path is left clean.
