Privacy Policy

When you use the quote form on this website, we collect the answers you select, your name, your phone number, your email address and the property address. We also record the page you started from, how you arrived at the site, and standard campaign parameters if you came from an ad.

We do not ask for, and the form does not accept, free text messages, file uploads or photos.

To prepare a remote estimate for your attic and to contact you about it. The property address is what lets us measure the roof and attic footprint before anyone visits.

Submissions are sent to Eco-Therma's customer relationship management system, where our team follows up. Each submission is stored with the exact consent text you agreed to, the version of the form, and the date and time it was sent.

We do not sell your information. If you have accepted measurement, our advertising provider is told that an enquiry happened, so that Eco-Therma knows which ads work — never your name, your phone number, your email address or the property address. Those go only to Eco-Therma.

This website uses analytics to understand which pages are useful and how visitors arrive. That measurement is about pages and traffic sources, not about identifying you personally.

Nothing measures anything until you allow it. On your first visit a short banner asks whether we may measure visits to this site, and no measurement script is loaded until you choose Accept. If you choose Decline, nothing is loaded at all.

Part of that measurement is run for us by JNT Productions, the studio that built and maintains this website. Once you accept, your browser loads a small measurement script served from this website, which records pages viewed, how long a page is actively used, and clicks that count as an enquiry — a call, an email, or a form sent. It sets no cookies and does not record anything that identifies you personally.

Eco-Therma advertises online. To know which ads actually lead to an enquiry, this website loads advertising measurement tags through Google Tag Manager, which is a container that lets us add or remove those tags without rebuilding the site.

None of it loads unless you accept. Google Tag Manager is not placed on the page before you choose Accept in the banner, so neither is anything inside it.

One of those tags is OpenAI’s advertising pixel, used for ads shown in ChatGPT. Your browser loads it from bzrcdn.openai.com, and when you send an enquiry it reports that a conversion happened to bzr.openai.com. It reports the event, not your name, your phone number or your email address — those travel separately to our own system when you submit the form.

Once you accept, that pixel sets two cookies in your browser: __obref, which lasts one year and lets OpenAI recognise a return visit as coming from the same browser, and __oppref, which lasts thirty days and records which ad you came from. If you later withdraw your consent, we delete both. OpenAI’s own servers also set two short-lived security cookies, __cf_bm and _cfuvid; those belong to their domains, so we cannot delete them from here — they expire on their own within thirty minutes and at the end of your browsing session. You can block or delete all of these in your browser settings at any time, and the website keeps working without them.

The banner gives you two buttons of equal weight: Accept and Decline. Declining is not hidden behind a second screen, and it is not a smaller button.

You can change your mind at any time. At the bottom of every page there is a Cookie preferences link that reopens the banner. Choosing Decline stops the measurement, tells Google that consent is withdrawn, and deletes the cookies that were set.

Your answer is remembered in your own browser for six months, so the banner does not ask again on every visit. It is stored on your device only — it is not sent to us and it is not stored in a cookie, so we have no list of who accepted and who declined.

If you no longer want to hear from us about a quote, tell us and we stop contacting you about it.
